Colloidal microcrystalline cellulose
TABULOSE® SC Colloidal microcrystalline cellulose is an efficient suspending agent that hydrates quickly, making it an ideal product for both suspensions and reconstitutable suspensions. The co-processing ensures perfect stability to the three dimensional gel formed upon hydration of TABULOSE SC in order to stabilize suspensions and emulsions.
TABULOSE® SC is a co-processed product composed of Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) and Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). Once hydrated a thixotropic suspension is used as a secondary stabilizer and suspension agent in semi-solid formulas such as suspensions, emulsions, aerosols, creams, lotions and gels.
