Potato and Pea Native Starch
POTATO & PEA STARCH provide thickening to various pet food and feed specialties applications. They also allow modification or improvement of the texture of the finished product during the palletization and extrusion processes.
Native starches represent the carbohydrate fraction of the grain or tuber, obtained after the separation of the other components via a wet process extraction. They are composed of starch granules that have not undergone any physical or chemical transformation.
These native starches are characterized by different Amylose/Amylopectin ratios:
• Potato starch: 20% / 80%
