Modified Starches - Cook-up

This Cook-Up Modified Starch provides thermal resistance, texture and thickening to various pet food products, especially wet pet food in cans or pouches.

Starches from the CLEARAM® range are cooked-up starches cross-linked and stabilized with the objective of preserving the traditional functional properties of the starch after manufacturing. The cross-linking provides increased resistance to shearing, heat and acidity. The stabilization reduces any tendency to syneresis and avoids gel set-back and texture change after manufacturing.
