GLUCIDEX® main advantages
Lactose- & gluten-free, GLUCIDEX® maltodextrins are highly purified polysaccharides produced from waxy maize, potato or corn starch, which provide a large choice of varietal origin, high digestibility and excellent tolerance.
Thanks to a wide range of DE or dextrose equivalent, available from 1 to 47, food producers are able to meet the consumers’ expectations in terms of sweetness – too much sweetness is experienced as sickly by sportspeople.
Last but not least, the wide range of DE allows osmolarity fine-tuning, which is directly linked to a sports drink hydration potential.
