About the speaker
Dr. Tao Peng, BioPharma Research Manager at Roquette
Dr. Tao Peng is the Biopharma Research Manager at the Roquette Asia Pacific Innovation Center in Singapore. His primary focus lies in exploring and validating ingredient solutions to enhance biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and formulations. One particularly noteworthy component of his research Is KLPTOSE® hydroxypropyl beta-cyclodextrin, which has garnered significant attention due to its potential as a stabilizer for biologics and its other advantageous characteristics.
Dr. Tao Peng obtained his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and boasts over a decade of industrial experience in protein and monoclonal antibody research. His expertise spans various aspects of biopharmaceuticals, including hands-on practices and in-depth knowledge of protein downstream processes, formulation development, and characterization techniques.
