Pea Cream

Liquid product obtained from the wet refining of yellow peas following extraction of the starch and protein fractions.

Pea cream is a mix of the wet pulp obtained during starch separation and the concentrated solubles obtained following protein extraction. The level of protein can vary from 15 to 25% on a dry matter basis, depending on the raw materials and the process conditions.
