KLEPTOSE® LINECAPS

Maltodextrin from pea origin

KLEPTOSE® LINECAPS maltodextrin is a pea carbohydrate providing fully available energy and has a unique encapsulation property for masking non-desirable aftertaste.

It also serves as a bulking agent in a wide variety of food applications. KLEPTOSE® LINECAPS pea maltodextrin provides 100% glucose-based energy, the most efficient energy substrate for muscles, the brain, and recovery, to fuel active lifestyles.

Lactose and gluten-free, this plant-based ingredient is a highly purified soluble carbohydrate produced from the non-GMO yellow pea. It offers a medium dextrose equivalent (DE 17) to control product osmolarity and provide good hydration, increased energy, and quick recovery.

This pea-based ingredient comes in a neutral and white powder, the ideal solution as a bulking agent and drying carrier in a wide variety of food applications, including soups, seasonings, flavors, powdered beverages, and GUM (Growing-up milk for toddlers).

Versatile, KLEPTOSE® LINECAPS pea maltodextrin can also be used as a fermentation substrate in brewing, for browning in baked goods, or to prevent crystallization in confectionary or ice creams. This ingredient is especially of interest in flavor applications to be used as a masking agent.

It is not intended and non-suitable for dry mix infant formula preparation.
