Process method
Powder mix preparation (Bench top):
- Premix MCT oil with soluble corn fiber, sieve and blend to homogenous blend
- Add remaining ingredients and blend
- Sieve the mixture and blend again until achieving a homogeneous blend using WAB Turbular blender for 5 min at 50 rpm
Powder mix preparation (Pilot scale):
- Premix all dry ingredients at 60 rpm for 3 min with Eirich® OptimaBlend® sanitary lab blender
- Using nozzle spray system to spray MCT oil within 1min into blender, post-mixing for 1 min
Reconstitution method:
- Blending 40g powder mix in 10 oz (296g) water and ice in a blender for 30 sec
