Roquette is excited to continue contributing to the scientific research presented at the upcoming International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) Annual Meeting, taking place in Tokyo, Japan
Through a scientific poster, Clémentine Thabuis, Nutrition and Health Senior Research Manager at Roquette, will present how resistant dextrin, including NUTRIOSE® soluble fiber, fulfills the current scientific definition of a prebiotic. These data contribute to the growing body of evidence showing that prebiotics extend beyond traditionally recognized ingredients and can include other fibers supported by robust scientific evidence.
Clémentine will also contribute to scientific debates through an expert discussion group exploring emerging mechanistic endpoints for prebiotic research, including the potential role of intestinal gluconeogenesis in linking microbial fermentation to host metabolic health.
