The pilot center, an investment initiated in late 2024, spans more than 1,000 square meters and brings together physicochemical analysis, lab-scale research, and pilot-scale industrial transformation into a unified innovation platform. It is designed to tackle long-standing challenges in the starch and polyol sector including complex processes, high costs, purity requirements, and product stability while building a localized ecosystem that accelerates development and improves responsiveness to customer needs.

A Customer-Centric, End-to-End Innovation Model

A key advantage of the pilot center is its streamlined process that links customer needs directly to prototype creation, pilot-scale validation, and industrial scale-up. Once a requirement is confirmed, the team can quickly:

· Develop prototypes

· Conduct laboratory and pilot testing

· Transition to full-scale production

This integrated workflow significantly shortens time-to-market, enabling customers to respond faster to evolving consumer expectations and competition.

“The new pilot center strengthens our technical capabilities and enables us to collaborate with customers at a much faster pace. With localized R&D and validation, we can respond with greater precision and support the industry’s move toward higher quality and more sustainable solutions”
