VITEN® Vital wheat gluten, the natural protein extracted from wheat, is a water-insoluble complex protein characterized by visco-elasticity properties when hydrated. Wheat gluten is a good source of vegetable protein and is particularly regarded for the following:
• Excellent digestibility especially for young animals
• High water absorption capacity
• Exceptional binding and textural properties
These characteristics make it particularly suitable for pet food. Stable upon sterilization, it helps to improve the physical presentation of feed. It is also an excellent binder for fish feed helping to ensure stability in water.
