TUBERCELL® - POTATO FIBER
TUBERCELL®
- Fiber enrichment
- Source of soluble & insoluble fibers
- Natural fiber source according to FEDIAF
TUBERCELL® provides a good combination of starch and fiber for ruminant formulations. It can also \nhelp to improve compound feed pellet quality, due to the binding effect of the starch.\nThe good pellet quality and light color of TUBERCELL® potato pulp pellets is beneficial when used in \ncoarse mix rations.\nThanks to our refining process, the level of total glyco-alkaloids in TUBERCELL® is very low, around \n200mg/kg (Solanine and Chaconine).\nStudies in dogs have shown that potato fiber is a good source of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber, \nwhich have a positive effect on the gut microflora (University of Illinois 2013). \nOn top of being a palatable fiber source, it has a positive effect on feces quality and allows to fight \nagainst obesity thanks to a satiety effect. \nIndicative inclusion rate of 5 to 15% in dry dog food
