Discover Roquette’s global employee volunteer initiatives for 2025—see how our teams support local communities through education, environment, and health.

Each year, Roquette employees around the world participate and volunteer for non-profit organizations or local community initiatives with other colleagues through the Volunteer Program, part of Roquette’s Philanthropy Program. Aligned with the company’s values and sustainable development platform CARE for people, the Volunteer Program encourages employees to invest their time and skills to support their community and contribute to education, health and nutrition, biodiversity, and preservation of the environment, as well as providing aid in the event of natural disasters.
As part of the company’s sustainability targets for 2030 and Philanthropy Program, Roquette aims to implement around 100 community initiatives each year near its sites worldwide, with the support of the Roquette Foundation for Health and the Philanthropy team. In 2025, Roquette colleagues exceeded that goal with 130 local community initiatives.
The following actions are some of the highlights from 2025 that demonstrate the commitment of Roquette’s employees to their local communities:
- Canada: Over 20 employee volunteers cleaned up garbage from the streets and parks of Portage la Prairie, which not only beautified the area but also promoted well-being and community pride.
- France: Employees collected food donations for local food banks near the Lestrem site. Employees from the La Madeleine site sorted and organized clothing donations for the association La Cravate Solidaire to support job seekers in their professional integration.
- India: In collaboration with colleagues from France, the Roquette team in Mumbai provided immersive workplace sessions to foster learning and inspiration for future professional opportunities to young beneficiaries and volunteers from LP4Y (Life Project for Youth), which empowers marginalized youth.
- Singapore: More than 40 employee volunteers removed plastic waste and other litter from East Coast Park to protect marine ecosystems and promote a cleaner, healthier environment for park-goers and the wider environment.
- Spain: Employees from the Benifaió site and some of their family members cleaned rice paddies of waste that had accumulated after a significant storm. Through removing and recycling waste, they helped restore some of the area’s natural habitat for local wildlife and biodiversity.
- USA: For the 2025 Helping Hands Community Care Challenge, Roquette employees joined hundreds of volunteers to assemble activity/comfort kits for inpatient children at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and to pack supply bags for low-income patient families.
The examples do not end there. Roquette and its employees continue each day to invest in the well-being of others and make a positive difference for society and the planet.
