Orodispersible Tablets (ODT)

Orodispersible tablets, otherwise known as orally disintegrating tablets (ODT) or fast-melting tablets, are solid oral dosage forms designed for in vitro disintegration within 30 s or 180 s based on US and EU guidelines respectively. Orodispersible tablets may be produced by compression, freeze-drying or 3D printing.
