Driving Sustainable Innovation Through Eco-Design at Roquette
Published March 31, 2026
Discover more about eco-design at Roquette – training experts and using LCA tools to deliver sustainable products with improved benefits by 2030.

Through our INVENT for the future sustainability platform, we will train over 500 experts in eco-design by 2030, building collective expertise. This will ensure that 100% of our innovation projects are powered by eco-design principles to minimize our products’ environmental impacts throughout their life cycle while also providing improved benefits for consumers.
To embed eco-design into our product development processes, we launched a degree-granting training program in 2025 in partnership with Mines Paris – PSL - Executive Education, an educational institution, and Gingko 21, a consultancy specializing in eco-design.
Eco-design training progress
Since 2025, more than 120 experts have graduated or received training, with more training sessions to come in 2026. Three Roquette colleagues from our innovation and sustainability teams have been trained by Gingko 21 to become official animators of the eco-design fresk – a collaborative, 3-hour workshop in small groups.
Chloé Glotin, Life Cycle Assessment Manager at Roquette, said:
“This milestone for our team will strengthen our internal expertise and enable us to accelerate the autonomous deployment of eco-design throughout Roquette.”
Creating sustainable solutions
Within our innovation teams, we have implemented a dedicated methodology, supported by a new Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool. The first set of innovation projects powered by eco-design principles have also been developed. These achievements continue to drive our sustainable journey forward to offer solutions that respond to customer demands and evolving consumer expectations.
