Roquette Strengthens its Agriscience Activity, Marking a Step Forward in its Commitment to Sustainable Farming

Lille, France - November 25, 2025 - Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients, is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable farming practices by expanding and renaming its plant care activity, now known as Agriscience. This evolution follows Roquette’s integration of the acquired IFF Pharma Solutions portfolio. By combining Roquette’s legacy expertise with new innovative products coming from this acquisition, the Agriscience team reinforces its commitment to shaping the future of crop performance across fertilizer, biostimulation, biocontrol, and seed treatment applications.

A comprehensive offer for crop care and bio-agriculture

The Agriscience activity now encompasses an extensive range of sustainable products—from cellulosic brands such as METHOCEL™, Lattice®, Accelerate®, and Aquacoat®, to seaweed-based Scogin®, alongside legacy plant-based solutions SOLULYS®, AGROBIND™, GLUCIDEX®, and NEOSORB® AG. These plant-based solutions address core needs in crop nutrition, protection, and seed treatment, enabling industrial partners to achieve reliable yields with sustainable practices.

A trusted partner in sustainable farming

The Agriscience teams of Roquette are dedicated to bringing innovative, sustainable solutions to customers worldwide. The recent opening of a dedicated Customer Technical Services (CTS) Application Lab in Geneva, Illinois, USA, in September 2025, further demonstrates Roquette’s partnership-driven philosophy to create lasting solutions that foster healthier crops.

This agriscience lab complements Roquette’s capabilities in Europe, providing local hands-on technical support. Additionally, it fosters customer collaboration and leverages advanced research capabilities to conduct tailored plant trials and seed treatment formulation, enabling precise product evaluation and accelerated development of solution-oriented applications.

Renaming our plant care activity to Agriscience signals a new chapter in how we support our partners in the field,” shares Julien Honoré, Head of Agriscience & Fermentation at Roquette. “With the integration of the acquired IFF Pharma Solutions portfolio, we’re able to offer an even wider range of sustainable solutions tailored to the demands of modern agriculture. Our team empowers growers and industry leaders to achieve more resilient, high-performing crops while staying true to our commitment to innovation and sustainability and shaping the transition to a more sustainable agriculture.”
