Roquette Launches NEOSORB^® AG

A New Plant-Based Multifunctional Polyol Range for Agricultural Formulations

Roquette’s NEOSORB^® AG range is a plant-based multifunctional polyol platform designed for agriscience professionals developing high-value agricultural formulations. By bringing together potential biostimulant functionality, humectancy for foliar and liquid fertilizer systems, and organic complexation for micronutrient delivery, the range offers a versatile solution for formulators seeking both performance and formulation flexibility.

Two Grades, Complementary Formulation Benefits

The NEOSORB^® AG range offers two liquid ingredient solutions, NEOSORB^® AG S50 and NEOSORB^® AG L20, each offering distinct composition characteristics.

NEOSORB^® AG S50 features a clear syrup format with 69.5–70.5% dry matter, 10% mannitol, and at least 69% sorbitol, providing formulators with a highly defined composition profile. In tomato trials under salinity stress, foliar application of NEOSORB^® AG S50 improved key agronomic parameters compared with the NaCl control and delivered gains in biomass, chlorophyll content, and root length.

NEOSORB^® AG L20 features a clear syrup format with 65% dry matter, 10% mannitol, and 50–70% sorbitol on dry matter, offering a versatile platform for a wide range of agricultural formulations. It is ideally suited for adjuvants, liquid fertilizers, foliar nutrition, micronutrient products, and biostimulants, where it helps enhance moisture retention, nutrient delivery, and plant resilience, while supporting simpler and more differentiated formulations.
