What drives Laetitia the most at work? People, innovation and customers.
“My role has evolved over time, but my goal has remained the same: creating the right conditions for innovation to happen,” she explained.
Today, Laetitia leads a multidisciplinary team of 35 experts. Her daily priority is not only scientific excellence but also fostering a climate of trust and authenticity where teams feel empowered to explore, question and innovate.
I firmly believe that innovation starts with people. My aim is to make my team’s work easier, giving them confidence and freedom so they can fully express their creativity and expertise. I also aim to foster strong collaborative ways of working, both internally and externally, through a global scientific network.
Her work focuses on developing healthier ingredients through fermentation processes and advanced science, while ensuring robust demonstrations of nutritional and health benefits, as well as safety compliance across Roquette’s target markets.
Deeply customer-oriented, Laetitia keeps customer needs at the center of her thinking to continuously guide research and innovation programs.
She said, “I think about our customers every day. Understanding their challenges helps us orient our research in a way that truly creates value.”
Constantly seeking challenge and growth, she completed a PhD in nutrition from AgroParisTech while working full-time, building on an engineering degree in biology.
Outside of work, Laetitia finds her balance through contemporary dance and hiking in the French mountains.
She enjoys spending time there with her family and reconnecting with nature.
She shared, “Nature reminds us of what truly matters. It inspires me both personally and professionally, especially when we work on solutions that aim to improve health and well-being.”
