Lille, France, March 12, 2026 – Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal and has participated in the CDP’s annual assessment to evaluate its environmental management practices, earning a B score for both Climate and Water.
“This recognition acknowledges years of structured efforts and underscores the dedication of our teams to operating responsibly and reducing our environmental footprint. We intend to build on this momentum to position sustainability as a strategic differentiator and a driver of collective performance, fully aligned with our purpose: Together, we turn the potential of nature into the essentials of life,” comments Xavier Galliot, Chief Sustainability & Stakeholder Engagement Officer at Roquette.
The EcoVadis gold medal is an international recognition that distinguishes companies with the most advanced CSR performance. This achievement places Roquette among the top 5% of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis, a global reference evaluating more than 150,000 organizations across over 180 countries. The company achieved a score of 84/100, marking a significant improvement from the previous score of 75/100 in 2024.
Beyond the improvement in the overall EcoVadis score, the results of the CDP assessment demonstrate notable and continuous progress in Roquette’s climate transition roadmap, environmental transparency and stewardship.
These achievements show the momentum of life+nature, Roquette’s sustainability program, which was launched in 2023 and sets ambitious goals for 2030. Built around three key platforms, PRESERVE the planet, INVENT for the future, and CARE for people, the program aims to accelerate and strengthen Roquette’s sustainable development approach across its global activities.
“We remain committed to decarbonizing our activities by reducing direct and indirect emissions, systematically integrating eco-design into our product offerings, while continuing to place ethics, people and communities at the heart of our strategy,” concludes Xavier Galliot.
