Fillers

Binders 

Binders including LYCATAB® PGS pregelatinized maize starch and LYCATAB® DSH maize maltodextrin provide tablet strength and batch-to-batch consistency, resulting in consistent granule quality and robust tablet strength. They are key to maintaining reproducibility across batches. 

Co-Processed Excipients 

Products like StarLac® co-processed lactose-starch and PEARLITOL® Flash co-processed mannitol-starch combine filler and binder functionality, delivering reliable compressibility and disintegration with low variability for direct compression and chewable formulations. They are designed to improve mouthfeel and disintegration in ODTs and chewables. 

Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) 

MICROCEL® microcrystalline cellulose is a global standard excipient with wide pharmacopeial recognition. MCC ensures batch-to-batch reproducibility and stability, supporting tablet and capsule integrity from laboratory trials to commercial production. 

Polyols 

Polyols such as SweetPearl® maltitol powder, NEOSORB® sorbitol, and XYLISORB® xylitol provide consistent performance in chewables and ODTs. They enhance taste and mouthfeel with sugar-free and non-cariogenic properties, contributing to patient compliance.
