HUMAN RESOURCES - HR Generalist & Compensation and Benefit Specialist
Ref. R0027166
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
Would you like to combine payroll, HR administration, and modern HR work while developing in the medium term into a broadly skilled HR Generalist? In this role, you will initially take on a clear focus in Payroll & Time Management. Together with our HR team, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while also building experience across the entire employee lifecycle, from entry to exit, from HR administration to advising employees and managers.
Support monthly payroll processing, including collecting, reviewing, and preparing relevant data such as time management data, allowances, bonuses, absences, and employee changes.
Maintain, review, and clarify time data, missing clock-ins/clock-outs, irregularities, overtime, and absence-related topics in the local systems.
Handle employee inquiries related to compensation, time management, and payroll-relevant topics.
Support checks, reconciliations, retroactive calculations, reporting, legally required notifications, and audit-proof documentation.
Work closely with Compensation & Benefits, HR Business Partners, managers, external service providers, and other HR colleagues.
Contribute to the design of a reliable payroll calendar, clear processes, and the validation of changes, system entries, and import data.
In the longer term, you will develop into an HR Generalist:
Manage administrative HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and contract or data changes through to exit.
Maintain employee master data and prepare and manage employment contracts and HR documents.
Support onboarding and offboarding, benefits, compensation, and HR reporting processes.
Take on HR projects, process improvements, and the further development of digital HR tools.
Gradually expand your advisory skills for employees and managers on standard HR processes.
What we will particularly value about you:
Completed commercial training with an HR focus, a degree in human resources, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
Initial experience in HR, ideally with exposure to payroll, time management, HR administration or Compensation & Benefits.
Interest in developing professionally both in the payroll environment and into a broadly skilled HR Generalist role.
A very careful, structured, and discreet way of working, combined with a strong sense of responsibility.
Enjoy working with numbers, processes, and digital HR systems; experience with Workday, ProTime, or comparable tools is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach when interacting with employees, managers, and external partners.
Good written and spoken German and English skills.
What we offer
A responsible position with a clear initial focus on payroll and a defined development path toward an HR Generalist role.
A varied range of tasks in an international corporate environment.
The opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of our HR team, digital HR tools, and processes.
An open, collaborative team culture with short communication channels, as well as individual training and development opportunities.
Our development promise:
You will start with a solid focus on Payroll & HR Operations and then develop in a targeted way: in HR administration, employee lifecycle management, HR systems, benefits, and — depending on your experience and interests — advising managers and employees. Payroll will deliberately be shared across several team members, with clear process ownership, mutual backup arrangements, and broad generalist development.
