FINANCE - Credit Junior Analyst

The Role:
We are looking for our next Credit Junior Analyst within our AR/Credit Team. The Credit Junior Analyst will Execute hands-on dispute-resolution and clearing activities to reduce overdue by clearing aged items (>90/>180 days), resolving deductions/short-pays, and applying unapplied cash. Coordinate directly with Sales and Customer Care, as well as customers, to resolve payment issues and disputes, improving cash flow and customer experience. Support accurate, compliant A/R processing while implementing practical improvements that strengthen controls and receivables performance.
This is a One-Year Fixed term contract located in Queretaro, Mexico
Compensation:
The current salary for this role is estimated to be $25,000 MXN/month.
What You’ll Do:
· Collections and Cash Acceleration: Prioritize and action customer worklists; follow up on past-due invoices; secure commitments; reduce DSO and aged buckets.
· Dispute/Deduction Resolution: Research root causes; obtain documentation (PODs, pricing/contract terms); propose credits/adjustments per policy; prevent reoccurrence.
· Reconciliations and Cash Application: Reconcile customer accounts; coordinated with AR department to clear unapplied/unidentified cash; align remittances with invoices; maintain clean sub-ledgers.
· Risk and Policy Adherence: Escalate exposure and payment risks; follow credit/approval workflows; support compliance with internal controls and IFRS 9 where applicable
· Reporting and Transparency: Maintain accurate account notes; provide weekly progress on aged balances, dispute cycle times, and cash collected vs. targets.
· Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and propose fixes to streamline Order-to-Cash handoffs and strengthen controls
What You’ll Need:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Experience:
· 1–2 years of experience in A/R, Credit, Collections, or Order-to-Cash operations; deduction/dispute resolution experience strongly preferred.
· Experience with SAP is highly valued; strong Excel/reporting capability
· Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; customer-focused with high follow-through
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
· This is a full-time position. Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.
