That mindset has shaped Amit’s more than 20-year career in the pharma industry. With experience spanning R&D, technical marketing, business development, product management, marketing, and strategy, he brings a broad perspective and a strong ability to connect technical expertise with performance and customer outcomes.
Amit joined Roquette more than seven years ago and today leads Global Segment Marketing for Pharmaceuticals within Roquette’s Health & Pharma Solutions Business Unit. Currently, Amit and his team are focused on helping customers who are navigating the complexities of generic manufacturing understand how Roquette can support them as a trusted partner.
Looking back, Amit said that his journey has been shaped by a constant curiosity to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
Moving across functions and organizations has helped me grow both professionally and personally, and continues to influence my approach to leadership, problem-solving, and value creation.
Amit’s passion for learning and innovation extends beyond his day-to-day work. He holds multiple advanced degrees, has received several industry awards, authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, and secured a U.S. patent. He’s also a highly sought-after speaker at technical conferences around the world.
Outside of work, Amit is deeply involved in his community.
He supports underserved populations through philanthropic organizations focused on providing essential and sustainable resources to those in need. A natural leader, he also enjoys mentoring students and advising faculty members at academic institutions on modern technologies and industry trends.
When he’s not working or volunteering, Amit enjoys reading books on leadership, business strategy, and decision-making. He also stays active through sports, which he added has helped him hone discipline, focus, and continual improvement.
