Application ROQUETTE GLUCONO DELTA LACTONE PL is a source of pure gluconic acid with valuable properties as a buffer and pH adjuster. It is a source of gluconate ions for the manufacture of metal gluconates. After solubilization, glucono delta lactone is slowly hydrolyzed into gluconic acid until an equilibrium is reached.\n\nGlucono delta lactone can be used in various oral dosage forms in both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications including the following: swallowable tablets, blends, granules, pellets premix, medicated confectionery, syrups, suspensions, liquids, creams, pastes and semi-solids.
