Roquette Beauté had an exciting time at Personal Care and Hygiene Ingredients (PCHI) 2025 exhibition, held from February 19-22 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
Visitors at the Roquette Beauté booth delved into the captivating world of sustainable beauty and innovative sensory experiences.
During this year's edition of PCHI Roquette Beauté showcased a few of our latest 100% plant-based, biodegradable ingredients.
Among these were the innovative Beauté by Roquette® ST 730 and Beauté by Roquette® DS 146.
Beauté by Roquette® ST 730, Hydroxypropyl Starch, is a biodegradable film-former that is water-resistant and boasts a clinically proven lifting effect, offering immediate visual enhancements in skincare and makeup formulations.
Beauté by Roquette® DS 146 is a plant-based emulsifier with encapsulation technology. Suitable for both hot and cold processes, it offers diverse textures ranging from light sprays to creamy lotions, including sunscreens, and provides a powdery feel on the skin.
Beauté by Roquette® ST 730
Beauté by Roquette® ST 730 Hydroxypropyl Starch is the perfect alternative to synthetic film-formers providing water resistance and immediate tightening effect.

Beauté by Roquette® DS 146
Beauté by Roquette® DS 146 is a patented fully biobased dry feel O/W emulsifying system for cosmetic emulsions. It allows to create emulsions with the smallest droplet size and therefore to obtain pleasurable sensorial benefits as well as long term stability.

- Efficient with a high level of sunscreen’s SPF
- Dry and smooth velvet skin feel
In addition to introducing our new ingredients, visitors were treated to an array of formulations incorporating Beauté by Roquette® ingredients.
These included skincare, makeup, and suncare products, showcasing our ingredients' versatility and unique sensory experiences. Attendees had the opportunity to touch and feel firsthand how our innovative solutions can enhance various formulations, delivering both sustainability and exceptional performance and sensory satisfaction.
Visitors to the booth also discussed the recent announcement of the opening of our new Roquette Beauté Expertise Center in Shanghai. This state-of-the-art facility dedicated to research, development, and collaboration, will enhance our ability to develop products tailored to the unique needs of the Asian market, fostering closer partnerships with our clients and stakeholders.
