Frequently asked questions for SweetPearl® maltitol and its applications

SweetPearl® Maltitol is available in fine and coarse crystalline powder grades, as well as a granulated grade with mean particle diameter up to about 300 µm. The granulated grade SweetPearl® P300 DC is designed for use in directly compressible tablet formulations.

Even though SweetPearl® has a sweet taste (approximately 95% the sweetness of sucrose or xylitol), it is non-cariogenic and hence a tooth-friendly option for sugar-free formulations.

The granulated grade SweetPearl® P300 DC is designed for use in directly compressible tablet formulations. It has applications in chewable tablets or effervescent tablet products.
