Application LYCATAB® DSH maize maltodextrin is a high-performance wet granulation binder for swallowable tablets with low impact on dissolution. It is a natural origin binder developed specifically for wet granulation. It is completely soluble in cold water and has excellent wettability. These characteristics make it a versatile excipient whatever the granulation equipment you have available (high shear, fluid bed, twin screw) and whatever the incorporation of your binder (in the dry mix or as a binding solution). The low viscosity benefits a short granulation process and a low impact of the binder on the disintegration and dissolution profile of your formulation.
