Today Roquette operates seventeen state-of-the-art production plants in Europe, the USA and Asia, for guaranteeing the same security level in supply and service quality worldwide.
Total raw material consumption currently exceeds 6.8 million tones per year, resulting in the production of 6.5 million tones of starch and starch derivatives.
Roquette’s factories in Europe, Asia and America operate a fully integrated international production and delivery system.
The main plant is at Lestrem, in northern France, an ideal location for distribution to both the European and international markets. Not only is this starch plant / biorefinery the largest of its kind in Europe, it also turns out the world’s most diversified range of products.
Alongside it are the Roquette Research and Development laboratories, embodying the company’s commitment to innovation in both products and processes.
To assure all demands are met and even exceeded in terms of delivery efficiency of its products, no matter where on the globe the demand arises, the company now has production plants located in Italy, Spain, the USA, the UK, Germany, Romania, China, South Korea and India.
