Roquette Beauté showcased its expertise in biodegradable plant-based ingredients at this year's in-cosmetics® global, the leading global event for cosmetics ingredients, held in Paris from April 16 to 18.
The event served as the perfect stage for Roquette Beauté to launch its new product, Beauté by Roquette® ST 730, a hydroxypropyl pea starch, and to present its expertise in biodegradable plant-based ingredients through a playlist of innovative formulations with unique textures.
Revealing a new water-resistant film-former with a lifting effect
In-cosmetics® Global was the ideal venue for Roquette Beauté to introduce its latest hit, Beauté by Roquette® ST 730.
Beauté by Roquette® ST 730 is a biodegradable water-resistant film-former with a clinically proven lifting effect.
This new ingredient is from pea starch origin, an attractive sustainable crop, that has minimal impact on water resources, climate change, and land use.

Beauté by Roquette® ST 730 at 5% showed higher water resistance, compared to industry benchmark film formers, such as pullulan and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), at the same concentration.

An in vivo study** was performed on 40 volunteers to analyze the tightening power of our new ingredient. Beauté by Roquette® ST 730 at 4% significantly decreases fine lines and wrinkles in only 3 minutes.

Attendees at in-cosmetics® global were invited to explore the latest track in the Beauté by Roquette® product line at the innovation zone and during an exclusive formulation lab session, where attendees could formulate their very own eye contour serum with a lifting effect.
To highlight the sensorial benefits and versatility of its ingredients, 30 different formulations with Roquette Beauté ingredients were presented at the Roquette Beauté Texture Bar, in formulations for makeup and haircare, skin care, oral care, deodorant and suncare.
Visitors of the booth were invited to experience the endless possibilities of Beauté by Roquette® ingredients and to win an exclusive kit of top-chart formulations featuring the guest star Beauté by Roquette® ST 730.
