Case study: Impact of the lubricant mixing time on the compactibility and disintegration time for mannitol compacts

The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of Magnesium stearate (MgSt) mixing conditions on the compaction behavior and disintegration time of different mannitol based formulations. For this study, textured mannitol compacts manufactured on a press simulator (STYLCAM 200R) were used to characterize mannitol.
