Paying closer attention to your health this year? Us, too!

Let’s delve deeper into the world of better-for-you ingredients in our highly anticipated second edition of the Functional Food Forum.

Consumers have always been interested in improving their health, whether it be through lifestyle choices or monitoring their food options. The trends have come and gone over the years— remember when the price of kale skyrocketed?—and as a result, F&B manufacturers feel the need to have their ears to the ground when it comes to frequent changes to consumer habits.

Understanding what the average consumer wants is essential to meeting their needs through new products. With the ongoing pandemic, we’ve invited a few speakers to share some research on how consumer concerns have shifted towards specific needs and must-haves. These insights will help F&B manufacturers hit the market with new offerings that excite consumers in 2021 and beyond.

In this webinar, we will discuss the research behind some popular functional foods and explore a few products that are making headway in this market.

Lesot Damien-Pierre  Damien-Pierre Lesot, Head of technical developers at Roquette, will contribute with a presentation: "Permission to indulge: Formulating Successfully Without Compromise" at 10:20 am.

He will share insights on how to build “Better For You” indulgences with NUTRIOSE® soluble fiber, so you can continue to successfully formulate without compromising the sensory profiles consumers know and expect from your products.
