ReadiLYCOAT® D CLEAR products are blends of pregelatinized hydroxypropyl pea starch, sorbitol and stearic acid.
ReadiLYCOAT® D WHITE products are blends of pregelatinized hydroxypropyl pea starch, sorbitol, stearic acid and titanium dioxide.

ReadiLYCOAT® D CLEAR and ReadiLYCOAT® D WHITE ranges provide coating for instant release tablets. They offer respectively transparent (CLEAR) and white (WHITE) coating.

ReadiLYCOAT® products are mainly composed of hydroxypropyl pea starch. To ensure good film resistance over handling and storage of the coated tablets, starch plasticization is required. Sorbitol is used here as a starch plasticizer.

Stearic acid is used as a process aid to prevent tablet sticking during the coating process. It also contributes to improve the moisture barrier of the coating.
