Most efficient plasticizers to be used with LYCAGEL® Flex are glycerol and sorbitol. -
The LYCAGEL® range is a vegan solution for the manufacture of gelatin-free soft capsules.

The LYCAGEL® range is composed of two products:
- LYCAGEL® VS 720: a hydroxypropyl pea starch offering excellent film-forming properties.
- LYCAGEL® FLEX: a plasticizer-free premix formulation developed to replace gelatin in the manufacture of veggie soft capsules. LYCAGEL® FLEX is composed of LYCAGEL® VS 720, carrageenan and disodium phosphate.
