Application | TABULOSE® SC 611 colloidal microcrystalline cellulose is a co-processed product composed of microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) and sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). It hydrates quickly and forms a thixotropic suspension in water, making it an ideal product for both suspensions and reconstitutable suspensions. TABULOSE® SC 611 is used as a secondary stabilizer and suspension agent in semi-solid formulas such as suspensions, emulsions, aerosols, creams, lotions and gels. TABULOSE® SC 611 creates a viscous suspension in water having a viscosity of 85 to 200 mPa.s at 2.6% solid content. |
