POLYSORB® isosorbide is ideal for polycarbonate as it is an alternative to bisphenol A. 

But it is more than just a drop-in solution. POLYSORB® based polycarbonate exhibits excellent mechanical strengths, scratch resistance, heat resistance, a small refractive index, a large Abbe number, small birefringence and excellent transparency. 

Thanks to removing aromatic parts from polycarbonate, it can be used for automotive and outdoor applications because of its very good resistance to UV.
