As POLYSORB® isosorbide increases the thermal resistance of PET, POLYSORB® can be used in technical applications such as tire cord for car wheels where the thermal resistance is a key factor.

Additionally, thanks to isosorbide, PEIT exhibits better dyeability than PET. PEIT can be stained at a lower temperature than PET, reducing the energy consumption during the process. This is of high interest for applications such as car seats.
