The Research Centre
Roquette has brought together its research operation in Lestrem (France), the Group’s research base since 1951. The fact that the laboratories and main production are practically next door to each other boosts efforts to develop new techniques and products.
The innovation, quality and effectiveness of Roquette’s product range are pursued and monitored here. Here, too, our customers can obtain all the help they need to harness our science for their own product development.
Five research groups
The R&D Centre is divided into 5 research groups:

- Renewable Biotechnology & Chemistry
- Research on Health & Nutrition
- Analytical Research
- Intellectual Property & Regulatory Affairs
Outside Europe, there also are four application labs in the United States, China, Japan and India.
