Sunday 18 March 2012: Journey of Large Silo to Roquette UK Ltd, Corby, Northamptonshire
During the course of Sunday 18 March, a large silo will be transported from the Port of Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire to Roquette site in Corby, Northamptonshire. The silo forms the final part of a £15 million investment in the site.
The journey has been carefully planned by our haulage partner with the input and approval of the police who are providing an escort for the low-loader, and our aim is to minimise the impact on local people. We sincerely apologise for and regret any inconvenience that may be caused, but hope that people will understand that this is a one off event which we hope will bring significant economic benefit to the region.
