Noise suppression measures are part and parcel of planning new installations at Roquette and are integrated into specification procedures for new equipment, etc.

The locations of potential sources of noise are identified, listed and the necessary containment and protective measures specified. In addition, periodic checks on sound levels are carried out on all sites and, if necessary, followed by the appropriate action. We rececently started using purpose-built modelling software, including the mapping and definition of sources and buildings, so that we can predict and manage our noise impact.
