Roquette is a private family owned business, specializing in starch and starch derivatives. Since its foundation in 1933, Roquette’s development has been based on a long term industrial strategy, and an on-going drive to innovation and customer service.

The consolidated turnover is close to 2 billion euros. Two thirds arise from European sales and one third mostly from sales in Northern America and Asia.

Employing 6,000 people, Roquette ranks high amongst the world’s leading producers of starch derivatives and is the largest producer of polyols in the world.

With production facilities in Europe, the USA and Asia, the company markets its products in more than 100 countries, backed up by its global network of subsidiaries and agents.

Roquette derives over 650 products from 6 million tonnes of agricultural raw materials.
