Roquette to conduct a seminar on: ‘How to choose excipients for oral dissolve tablets application’

Roquette China Pharma will take the opportunity at CPhI China 09 to promote the company’s leading excipients and new products, like diverse Mannitol range (PEARLITOL^®), STARLAC^® and in the capabilities of its Cyclodextrins (KLEPTOSE^® HPB), GLYCOLYS^® and LYCATAB C^®. Especially keen interest was expressed in Roquette’s new film-forming polymer, LYCOAT^TM.

China to become the fifth biggest pharmaceutical market

Dynamic and exciting, the Chinese pharmaceutical market continues growing at a rhythm up to 18% annual growth in the past years. With emerging opportunities and new stricter rules and regulations raising the bar even higher, China pharmaceutical market is changing fast.

China will become the fifth biggest pharmaceutical market within 2010. Now, China has over 4,000 pharmaceutical plants with GMP license, and most of these plants are active pharmaceutical ingredient and intermediate producers. In 2008, the annual output of the China Pharmaceutical industry is 18.5 billion RMB.

CPhI China 2009 - a step ahead of change

Although CPhI has only 8 years history in China, this event is attracting more and more visitors every year. CPhI 2008 exhibition was a success with 280 exhibitors from 20 countries attending the exhibition, nearly 70% of visitors having real purchasing power, 62 seminars & forum held during the exhibition and totally 26,800 professional buyers joining the even. .

CPhI China 2009 will be held in Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) from the 23rd to the 25th of June 2009 It will be organize in five segments: Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Chemicals & Intermediates, Excipients & Drug Formulations, Natural Extracts. 30,000 visitors are expected at CPhI this year.
